Chesley B. Sullenberger, you are a true hero. You accomplished the unimaginable by landing that plane nearly intact – and without a single loss of life! Moreso, you did this with appearing to not so much as break a sweat. Further, you stayed onboard the sinking craft to ensure the safe exit of all passengers. You are a true professional and class act in a time when that type of person is so very hard to find. You touched all of those passengers’ lives and you have touched mine, through inspiration.
Thank you for your act of heroism, grace under pressure and service to this country.
