I cannot believe that we have gotten to this point. We do studies on American kids’ weight and the main focus of the results is not that they are overweight. It’s not that they are obese. The focus is on the fact that 7% of them are extremely obese. I would say that it is embarrassing that we even have to come up with a phrase for a condition that is beyond “obese,” but it’s not. It’s extremely embarrassing.
