I propose that we clean up our act a little on the fad that we have going on where we purposely do things like use a “z” instead of an “s” (e.g. Petz instead of Pets) in our everyday spelling. I say we don’t do it when it’s for a product, movie, etc. where the market is for kidz, er sorry, kids. Don’t we go to great lengths to teach kids to spell (at least they did when I was in school)? Then we turn around and purposely misspell things like “Antz?” What kind of an example does that set?
