Well, well, well – lookie what we have here.\u00a0 The American people were against the bailout but it was passed anyway.\u00a0 I e-mailed my senators and congressman beforehand declaring that they would not have my vote in the future should they vote Yes.\u00a0 Both senators and the congressman voted Yes, shame – I liked them all and they all got my vote in the past.\u00a0 My congressman was up for re-election this past election and I held up my end of the bargain, he did not receive my vote.\u00a0 Unfortunately a great majority of those who voted in the election voted for him.\u00a0 Man,\u00a0 do people have short memories!\u00a0 And guess what?\u00a0 The politicos are not holding up their end of the bargain.\u00a0 As of today, there is no oversight on this bailout.\u00a0 Also, they are now talking about bailing out institutions other than banking, for example GM and Ford.\u00a0 Further, banks are still not lending like they are supposed to – they are hoarding – even though the purpose of this bill was to get that going again!\u00a0 And what about these \u201crescued\u201d firms throwing their \u201clittle\u201d parties at our expense.\u00a0 Come on, people, look at what is being done to you!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
