A New Low

An Air Force One plane with F-16 escort over New York – how could this have ever been allowed, let alone without informing the public?  It should never have even been considered!  It was irresponsible and insensitive.  Whoever came up with the idea is clueless.  Further, let’s think about this for a minute – the current administration pounds into our heads that we must strive to be a “green” people.  And what do they do?  A photo op with a jumbo jet and fighter plane?!  Did not the government just a few months ago berate the auto industry execs for taking their private jets to the bailout hearings (of course we know the answer is yes, and they were right to have done so).  Is this not completely unbelievable on all levels?!  Let’s play the game fairly now.  When Bush was in office, everything was his fault.  So, President Obama, even if you did not know anything about this, it is ultimately your responsibility.  This individual who planned this should be called upon for resignation or fired immediately.
