The Good, The Bad and The Change

The last 100 days have gone by quickly.  Everyone else is grading the prez so so I am going to jump on the boat and do it, too!  I will start with the good:

  • You, your wife and kids are a good example what a family should be.
  • You engage the public, attempt to maintain communication.
  • You’re a good example of health and fitness (eh, except for the smoking).
  • You made a good decision on handling the pirates, even though you never came out with a strong statement.

I’ll leave it at that.  The media will add a bunch of other stuff to that list and it all may seem good on the surface, but it will be political smoke and mirrors.  Also, a lot of what they will add will result in greater national debt (with no real return for our money), a back-breaking tax burden for future generations and money being siphoned off to where it was never intended to go.  On with the bad:

  • What happened to transparency?  Why were we not able to view bills before they were voted on?
  • The outlandish, inexcusable stimulus packages which in no way have come to benefit the people, only your financiers.
  • Your choices for your cabinet that had to bail on you.  What in the world was going on there?
  • Cronyism was supposed to end.  Nope.
  • Wow, you upheld the warrantless wiretapping stuff that the previous administration championed.
  • What happened to bipartisanship?

I’ll leave it at that.  Don’t want to nag too much at once.  I give you a C- for an overall grade.
