So it turns out it looks like I was wrong again. I thought LeBron James would turn out to be just another whiny punk princess like Bryant. Getting into the big time too early tends to do that to people. It will be a real classy act if you are able to follow through and get your number changed to #6 instead of #23 and succeed in getting the number retired from the NBA completely. I can’t say it any better than you did:
“He’s the best basketball player we’ve ever seen. Mike does it on the court and off the court. If you see 23, you think about Michael Jordan. You see guys flying through the air, you think about Michael Jordan. You see game-winning shots, you think about Michael Jordan. You see fly kicks, you think about Michael Jordan. He did so much, it has to be recognized, and not just by putting him in the Hall of Fame.”
